
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan strongly condemned the attack by the Houthi militia that caused civilian wounds and damage to civilian property in the Jazan Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan reiterates its full support and solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threats to its security and territorial integrity, stated Foreign Office in a statement.
In the recent past, Pakistan had also strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks by Houthis on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is a clear contravention of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri told that we praised how Saudi Arabia’s successful defensive actions prevented the loss of many innocent civilian lives.
“Pakistan expresses full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supports the Kingdom’s right to defend itself against aggression,” he said.
The Foreign Office spokesman further added that Pakistan has time and again urged all parties to the conflict in Yemen to engage in a meaningful and peaceful dialogue to end the conflict, in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
“Pakistan expresses deep concern at the recent escalation of conflict in Yemen, as the city of Marib is threatened by the Houthi militias,” he continued.
“We deem that if military conflict engulfs Marib, it will cause in a serious humanitarian catastrophe,” he accomplished.
