LAHORE – At least thirteen (13 ) further schools have been closed for not executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to control the spread of Covid-19 across the country.
In accordance with the media information, the National Command and Control Center apprised that thirteen (13) more educational institutions have been closed over the violation of the Covid-19 SOPs in the country.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) 10 educational institutions were sealed while 3 educational institutions were closed in Sindh.
10 educational institutions were closed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 3 in Sindh. These educational institutions were sealed due to a lack of precautionary measures.
Saeed Ghani, Sindh Minister for Education and Labor also conducted a surprise visit to Government Girls College in New Karachi and told that social distance should be kept in the classrooms of the college in order to avoid the spread of this pandemic.
He also visited Mujeeb-ul-Nisa Ikram Government Girls Secondary Campus School located in New Karachi and praised the implementation of the SOPs and suggested to continue it to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The educational institutions in Pakistan open just two days ago, after six-month closure, 22 schools were sealed in Pakistan for breaching SOPs laid down to limit the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
On September 15; Government Authorities in Pakistan decided to reopen schools and colleges after a reasonable drop in the corona cases in the country.
