ISLAMABAD – The Indian Army has commenced huge military operations in big areas of South Kashmir and has detained more than a dozen Kashmiri youth during the operations across the occupied Kashmir.
As per the report of Kashmir Media Services on Sunday, in various parts of occupied Kashmir, Kashmiris came out of their homes, today, and held protest demonstrations against the CASOs and arrests.
The Indian Army arrested a father and his daughter in Mendhar, Poonch area.
Meanwhile, search operations were under process in several areas including Vatnar, Kokarnag, in Islamabad District. The Indian forces cordoned off Gujjar Colony in the Watnad area of Kokranag and are carrying out house-to-house searches.
The operation sustained in the area till the last report came in.
The army declared that four youth were arrested on charges of pasting pro-freedom banners in Pampore and helping Mujahideen whereas five were arrested during the raids in Karimabad, Pulwama.
The soldiers in the southern town of Awantipura detained three youth who, in accordance with the police, had posted posters and banners in favor of Mujahideen in the area on September 6, 2020, and Ontipora police seized the banners and posters and a case was registered in Pampore police station.
