RAWALPINDI – Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s to Pakistan has been rescheduled. A new date for the visit will be finalized soon.
Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing while talking to media in Rawalpindi said that both Governments are working to finalize the new date of the visit of the Chinese President.
The Ambassador apprised that President Xi Jinping would visit Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan, which he already extended during his visit to China.
He apprised both the countries are well aware of the threats to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), adding that we will not let the enemies succeed in their immoral designs and the CPEC projects will continue on both sides despite the challenges of Coronavirus.
He informed that the new date of the visit of the Chinese President to Pakistan would be announced soon.
