ISLAMABAD: Due to continuous heavy rainfall on Tuesday, the boundary wall which was used for stopping access of animals to the runway of New Islamabad International Airport falls down.
45 feet long wall near the airport’s runway collapsed caused damages to the watchtower. As per the airport manager, the administration will begin repair work of the damaged wall on an emergency basis.
Earlier, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Aviation Minister told that further rainfall is predicted in the next two days in the upper parts of the country as per the forecast of the Met Office. He further added that there is no prediction of further rain in Karachi. Aviation Minister also uttered empathy with the affectees of the recent rainfall across the country.
