Donald Trump US President has turned down to participate in Virtual TV debate with his Democratic opponent Joe Biden

The Commission which is constituted to organize the debate in Miami on October 15, 2002, had earlier said it would have to go on remotely.

It made the verdict after Mr. Trump was treated for Coronavirus. The President apprised he would not throw away his time on a move designed to “protect” his opponent.

Mr. Biden’s campaign asked Mr. Donald Trump was trying to avoid accountability on his “failures on Coronavirus and the economy”.

However, both sides later emerged to agree on 22 October as a rearranged date, even though what form the debate would take is unclear.

Therefore, the 1st Presidential debate dated 30 September had gone down into insults and disruption. The debate in respect of vice-presidential, convened on Wednesday night between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris, was a far more measured affair.

The US election will be held on 3 November. As per the latest opinion polls, Mr. Biden has a high single-digit lead nationally, but the result is often decided in battlefield states where the races can be much closer.
