China Discharges 5 Indians National detained near Tibet

New Delhi – China discharged five Indian nationals under arrest in a region bordering Tibet, the Indian army told, days after the two sides decided to reduce tensions on their uncertain frontier. 

As per the statement of man, who the citizen of India, had accidentally strayed into Chinese territory, were escorted back across the high-altitude frontier by the People’s Liberation Army to the border town of Kibithu.

“After quarantine of 14 days for Coronavirus they will be handed over to family members,” an Indian defense spokesman apprised on Twitter. But there was no official affirmation of the release from China, whereas the state-owned Global Times tabloid declared the men were “Indian intelligence personnel who had disguised themselves as hunters.” It reported that the men had infringed and that Chinese officials had “detained, warned and educated” them.
